This Eames EA117 office chair is made with high-end materials, honoring the original design by Charles & Ray Eames. The seating and backrest of this iconic chair are upholstered in real Californian leather, which hardly needs any maintenance. The chair is supported by a high-quality aluminium frame, creating an eye-catching contrast with the robust and supple look of the leather seating.

Mechanics

Besides high-quality materials and design, we highly value ergonomics. The mechanism of this Eames office chair is fully adjustable, so you can perfectly optimize the chair to your preferred position. To further support that, the chair comes with a solid 5-star base equipped with either casters or fixed glides.

Under the seat you will find a rotary knob to smoothly adjust the tilt and spring mechanism. If desired, you can also block the tilt/spring mechanism to lock the seat.

To adjust the height, simply pull the gas lift height adjustment handle underneath the seat.

You can opt for either semi-soft castors (suitable for low-pile carpet and most types of laminate) or soft casters (suitable for concrete/cast floors, wood, laminate and PVC).
