Design

The design of this beautiful LC2 sofa was created by designers Le Corbusier, his cousin Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. The trio spent many successful years designing beautiful furniture. One of their most famous designs is the LC series, including this stylish LC2 three-seater sofa. It’s truly an eye-catching and innovative design, making it a perfect match for both classical and contemporary interior styles.

You will instantly recognize this LC three-seater sofa because of its remarkable frame. This aluminum, chrome-plated frame serves as an eye-catching and solid casing to the sofa and its cushions.  

In the original design, one could choose between a top layer of foam or a top layer of feathers. By choosing the foam option, the leather upholstery remained sleek and tidy. A filling with feathers made the cushions sink in a little more. Our version is filled with foam.

Material

The cushions of this iconic sofa are upholstered in premium full aniline leather, one of the softest and most aesthetic types of leather. Since it is dyed without any coating, full aniline leather is an open type of leather. It is therefore the purest type of leather and bears all natural traces of the original skin. As a result, the recognizable smell and texture of leather are still present. This premium full aniline leather therefore enhances the authentic and sophisticated look of the le Corbusier LC2 sofa.

The padding of the cushions consist of high-quality foam. The frame is made of aluminum and is finished with a shiny chrome layer.
