• Both the inside and outside of the chair are finished with precision and craftsmanship. Not only the outside of the wooden shell is veneered, but also the inside. These edges are made of very compact and polished plywood.
• The padding of the cushions are made of preformed cold foam. The foam is therefore perfectly tailored for the Eames Lounge Chair and ensures supreme seating comfort.
• This Lounge Chair is upholstered in excellent high-quality Californian leather which emphasizes the luxurious and authentic character of the chair. On top of that, the trim of the chair is made of real leather as well.
• The shock mounts are made of vulcanized rubber instead of plastic. These do not only elevate the chair’s aesthetics, but also absorb vibrations. This contributes to higher comfort and better ergonomics.
• The seating area and the backrest are attached through solid steel bolts. During production these bolts are milled into the wooden shell. As they hardly wear out, your chair will last for many years longer.

Materials

The cushions of this iconic chair are covered with real Californian leather. This is one of the most commonly used types of leather. This type of leather has been treated, so it hardly needs any maintenance. A stylish addition to this Eames Lounge Chair.

The padding of the cushions consists of high-quality preformed cold foam. The chair is supported by an aluminum leg with five radial supports. 

Rosewood

Our wood can hardly be distinguished from rosewood. The wood is processed as a veneering layer which is then placed over 7-layer plywood.
The color perfectly matches the leather, making it a much desired combination.
